Laboratory Technician Binder Technology 80-100% Nordwestschweiz What awaits you You analyze the hydration and phase development of cements and binders using state-of-the-art analytical methods such as XRD/Rietveld, isothermal calorimetry, XRF, and TGA/DSC You plan, execute, and evaluate performance tests for the reactivity and hydration kinetics of binders – with and without additives You support our six plants in the interpretation and evaluation of XRD analyses and work closely with internal specialist departments You perform material- and additive-specific analyses and continuously develop existing testing and measurement methods You validate and optimize analytical procedures for mineral and powdery materials and derive sound technical evaluations and test reports from them You ensure seamless documentation and take care of the maintenance and safe operation of our modern laboratory infrastructure You live our safety, quality, and environmental standards and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes What you bring with you A completed education as a laboratory technician, building materials tester, chemical laboratory technician, or a comparable education – ideally with experience in building materials, cement, or binder technology Experience in an analytical laboratory as well as in handling modern laboratory equipment and measurement processes Technical understanding and enjoyment in working with laboratory and processing plants A structured, careful, and reliable way of working A high awareness of quality and safety Analytical thinking skills and interest in material science issues Team spirit, communication strength, and initiative Resilience as well as enjoyment of a practical activity in the laboratory.
