Head of Education and Training domain at secondary level I with teaching activity, 90%

The secondary I department is responsible for the training of secondary I teachers. It currently offers four master's curricula as well as specializations that transmit professional skills for teaching at the secondary level. We are looking for a motivated and committed management person for the Education and Training domain of the secondary I department, possessing excellent communication, design, and organizational skills. The position comprises approximately 45% domain management and 45% teaching. What you will do. • Management of the Education and Training domain (10 employees) in terms of personnel, content, financial, and organizational aspects, including personnel development • Co-responsibility for the curricular development of curricula at the department level • Networked and cooperative collaboration with other departments as well as with other performance sectors of PH Zurich • University didactic design of teaching-learning arrangements for students • Development, preparation, implementation, and monitoring of courses • Participation in the development, implementation, and evaluation of proofs of competence and examinations (diplomas), as well as in the supervision of master's theses • Participation in interdisciplinary working groups as well as in disciplinary development What you bring. • Master's in educational sciences or in psychology with a specialization in educational psychology, preferably with a doctorate • Teaching diploma at the secondary I level as well as several years of teaching experience at the target level or an adjacent level • Several years of experience in secondary I teacher training and/or experience in university didactics • Experience in management or in project management in the field of research and development • Conceptual, planning, and organizational skills • Strong willingness to develop secondary I curricula • Modern understanding of leadership in the context of an organization of experts What will excite you.
