Accompany students with special educational needs to help them achieve their learning objectives within our inclusive secondary environment.

Your role and responsibilities

• Work with students individually and lead very small groups, under the supervision of the specialist teacher.
• Accompany students individually in the regular classroom, in collaboration with the class teacher.
• Plan activities and lessons based on the objectives of the Individual Learning Plan (ILP), using adapted pedagogical material.
• Take an active part in weekly team meetings, meetings with parents, and meetings relating to students' Individual Learning Plans.
• Follow an individualized professional development program.

Profiles sought

Skills and experience

• University-level qualification (degree in mathematics and physics or experience in teaching them strongly desired).
• Proven experience with students presenting significant educational and socio-emotional needs.
• Experience in accompanying students with the ASDAN programme appreciated.
• Mastery of English at native level, with good operational knowledge of French.

Personal qualities

• Dynamism, energy, determination, professionalism, and flexibility.
• Genuine passion for special education and inclusive pedagogy.
• Strong ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
