Bezirksgericht Horgen Court Management The Bezirksgericht Horgen is a court of first instance for civil and criminal matters with around 60 employees. Approximately 4,000 proceedings are processed per year. As a civil and criminal court of the 1st instance, we are looking for, as of September 2026 or by arrangement, for the time being limited until 31 December 2026, to reinforce our commercial registry a Student (job sharing possible) (80-100%) # Your area of responsibility ### • Processing of inheritance matters, in particular identification of heirs at home and abroad, contact with parties and authorities, preparation of decisions and assumption of the associated administrative tasks • Management of the telephone switchboard and reception incl. receiving, processing and forwarding incoming telephone calls • Processing of incoming mail incl. recording and creating incoming business/proceedings • Issuance of decisions incl. dispatch and deadline control • Processing of completed business and archiving of process files • Substitution of other commercial employees in the rest of the court registry if required Your profile ### • Student Bachelor of Law or Master of Law • Flexibility and willingness to work in different areas • Quick comprehension as well as independent, precise and expeditious way of working • Resilience and the ability to keep a cool head in challenging situations • Very good German skills in speaking and writing • Good manners • Ability to work in a team and confidentiality Our offer ### • First practical experience at a court of first instance for civil and criminal matters • An interesting, varied and responsible activity • Collegial, supportive team • A workplace within walking distance of the Horgen station • Contemporary and attractive employment conditions according to the cantonal guidelines • Monthly meal allowance (Lunch-Check) • Possibility of being included in the pool of student assistants Are you interested?
