Branch Pedagogical Advisor at 50% We provide daily support to more than 500 children and adolescents presenting an intellectual deficiency, multiple disabilities, or autism spectrum disorders, throughout the canton of Neuchâtel. Our targeted services in pedagogical, educational, and therapeutic fields aim at the enhancement and fulfillment of young people in situations of disability throughout their schooling. We are a non-profit organization, recognized as being in the public interest and founded in 1967\. To fulfill its mission, the Ecole Spécialisée is looking for a Pedagogical Advisor. Branch Pedagogical Advisor at 50% Your mission: You are attached to the mental disability branch and act as support and resources in the individualized projects of students as well as for the holders. You align your action in agreement with the head of the mental disability branch. You establish and maintain collaborative relationships with teachers at pedagogical sites, parents, and with your other colleagues. Your profile: You benefit from a HEP pedagogical training (HES social work training or equivalent will be studied), ideally completed by training in special education or any other training in the field of disability and autism spectrum disorders. You benefit from confirmed experience with students having special educational needs, constituting a real asset for this position. Recognized for your commitment, your sense of tact, and your diplomacy, you know how to establish quality relationships and collaborate with different interlocutors. Motivated and involved, you attach particular importance to the relational dimension of your work. Called upon to travel regularly, you possess a personal vehicle as well as a driver's license.
