Tasks The course portfolio in the field of Software Engineering includes courses in the Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, the Master of Science in Engineering (MSE), as well as in computer science continuing education programs at the School of Engineering. The diversity of the courses offers numerous opportunities to implement novel pedagogical approaches at different levels and for different target groups. Core tasks: Teaching activities in the basic computer science subjects and in the topics of the Software Engineering research group (Programming in Java, Algorithms and Data Structures, Software Projects, Software Engineering, etc.) at the Bachelor, Master, and continuing education levels, as well as supervision of project, Bachelor, and Master theses. Continuous transfer of research findings, industry practice, and latest technologies into teaching, as well as responsibility for the content and organizational coordination of modules. Responsibility for the content and organizational coordination of the module with other modules, in cooperation with the relevant degree program directors. Organization and ensuring the operation of the teaching infrastructure (laboratory and practical material, hardware/software, content of learning platforms, etc.), in coordination with IL/ZL. Further tasks in applied research and development: Responsibility for specific, predominantly smaller and/or medium-sized R&D projects that position and strengthen the department in terms of acquisition, planning, implementation, evaluation, and publications. Co-responsibility for the strategic direction of R&D, responsibility for internal and external knowledge transfer, and the promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation at the department and university level. Profile Enthusiasm for teaching in the field of Software Engineering, as well as for promoting the transfer of research results into teaching, conducting research and teaching experiments, etc. Professional or practical experience in Software Engineering is desirable. Teamwork skills and social competence for working in interdisciplinary teams Good communication and presentation skills When working in research and development: presentation of results at conferences, at university events, in project meetings, and in specialist articles.
