Senior Payroll Specialist

A well-known large company with over 500 employees is looking for reinforcement in the HR team.

In this key position as Senior Payroll Specialist (80-100%), you will take responsibility for an exceptionally versatile payroll landscape and ideally complement the existing team as an experienced specialist.

Main tasks:

• Responsibility for the timely, correct processing of all payroll runs
• Contact person for managers and employees for specialist questions
• Processing of the entire social security and withholding tax system
• Preparation of annual financial statements, account reconciliations and wage statements
• Calculation of salary offers and participation in cross-departmental projects
• Continuous further development and optimization of the payroll system

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Commercial basic training with further training in the field of payroll or social insurance is absolutely mandatory
• Several years of sound senior professional experience in a large company (500–1000 employees)
• Proven practice in highly complex payroll environments (e.g., 50+ types of withholding tax, cross-border commuters, hourly workers)
• Proficient use of modern payroll and time recording systems (Infoniqa & TimeTool an advantage)
• Confident German at native speaker level, very good French an advantage
• Exact, structured and independent way of working
