Social worker - auxiliary

Le Service social Lausanne (SSL) provides social and financial support to people in Lausanne facing difficulties. It consists of the Agence d'assurances sociales (AAS) and the Centre social régional (CSR), responsible for applying the loi sur l'action sociale vaudoise (LASV) and providing the revenu d'insertion (RI) in Lausanne. More than 7'000 people benefit from the help of the Service social every year, which must be both diligent and in accordance with current standards. A real challenge, which can only be met by trained, motivated teams, gathered around an exacting vision of public service. As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for a social worker at 90%.

• Auxiliary contract for a duration of 7 months

Missions #####

• Offer social support with a view to promoting the autonomy of beneficiaries (establish a social assessment and a personalized action plan, accompany and advise beneficiaries in pursuing the set objectives)
• Accompany beneficiaries in the exercise of their rights, particularly with social security schemes
• Propose, in collaboration with specialists, useful measures to achieve the objectives

Profile #####

• HES Bachelor's in social work or an equivalent title
• A few years of professional experience in a social service
• Knowledge of the Vaud social network and social insurance
• Interest in teamwork and intervision
• Autonomy, ease of adaptation and good analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
