Polymechaniker/in - Maintenance for Railway Technology

Activity + Perform mechanical repairs, overhauls and modifications on locomotives, track construction machines and rail vehicles + Assemble and overhaul mechanical components, assemblies and modules according to technical drawings and sketches + Perform independent functional tests of the assembled assemblies using technical documentation + Support electrical departments with simple repair and overhaul work + Take on on-call duty and provide telephone support outside of regular working hours • Requirements + Completed vocational training as Polymechaniker EFZ or comparable with a focus on maintenance + Several years of experience in assembly, repair and overhaul work in the mechanical field + Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics + Driving license category B mandatory + Good German skills in speaking and writing and knowledge of Microsoft Office are an advantage • Offer + Diverse and responsible activities in railway technology with influence on forward-looking infrastructure projects + Modern working conditions according to GAV Gleisbau with fair and transparent framework conditions + Collegial working environment with a focus on teamwork, safety and quality
