In order to strengthen our main Underwriting & Pricing Division, we are looking for an intern currently pursuing a Master's degree for a duration of 6 months starting from February 2027 in Lausanne. As part of this internship, the intern will be required to develop a simulation tool in Python intended to perform Profit Testing for several individual life insurance products, in order to evaluate their profitability. The work includes notably the analysis of products (calculation of premiums, benefits and reserves), the generalization of actuarial models for Profit Testing and developments in Python. The missions awaiting you: * Perform Profit Testing of a life insurance linked to investment funds, a withdrawal plan and a death risk insurance * Propose solutions to select and manage a portfolio of reference contracts, the actuarial tariff as well as the model parameters * Generalize and complete the existing Python code by applying Vaudoise's target model and respecting the principles * Develop a graphical interface (FLASK Framework) to select the contracts, the tariff and the parameters, launch the calculation and display the results Your profile: * You are currently in an academic curriculum (University Master or Higher School) * You have excellent skills in mathematics * You have very good knowledge of Python programming * You have knowledge of VBA, GitHub Copilot and the GIT version control system * Possessing excellent command of French (C1), good knowledge of English and German (B1) are an asset * You appreciate teamwork * You are organized, know how to define priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
