We are looking for a school heilpädagogist for the 2026/2027 school year. The position is limited until 31.7.2027 with an option for extension. Perspectives that make sense As a vibrant educational institution of the canton of Bern, we offer a wide range of training and further education for young people and adults. At the Department of Vocational Education, around 2500 young people and adults are taught in the 2- and 3-year basic training courses in the professional fields of care, health and household management. For our consulting services, we are looking for a specialist in school heilpädagogik.  Your main tasks • As a specialist in school heilpädagogik, you work resource-oriented, appreciative and empathetic with young and adult learners. You are part of the BFF's consulting team and support teachers and school management with your expertise. • Head of the school heilpädagogik department at the Department of Vocational Education • Cooperation with other consulting services of the BFF • Accompaniments, consultations for learners, creation of support plans and aids • Planning and implementation of further training for teachers • Networking with external specialist offices Flexible, fluctuating weekly working hours: During school weeks, availability for consultations on site must be guaranteed from Monday to Friday. A constant presence on site is not mandatory. The daily working time on site and/or in the home office is 3-6 hours during school weeks. On Thursdays from 13:00-17:00, presence on site is defined for cooperation with other consulting offices. In the school-free school holidays, the remaining working time is fulfilled or overtime from the school weeks is compensated. • Annual working time model: 100 % = 1930 hours, i.e. 50 % distributed over 39 weeks, corresponds to an annual employment of 43 %. Your profile • You have the corresponding specialist competence as a school heilpädagogist • You have experience in accompanying learners with AD(H)S, ASS, LRS and dyscalculia • You have specific further training in the mentioned diagnoses • You are communicative, team-oriented and temporally flexible We offer you • You can rightly assume that the canton of Bern is an attractive employer in every respect with very good employment conditions.
