Your new role

Your main tasks in this position are the independent conduct of child and adult protection proceedings in cooperation with the specialist service as well as decision-making in child and adult protection. Additionally, you will have supervision over ongoing child and adult protection measures and advise assistants.

This position is suitable for you if

• You have a completed degree in pedagogy, psychology or social work.
• You have knowledge in child and adult protection and possibly in personal, family, inheritance and administrative law.
• You bring relevant professional experience at a KESB, a youth prosecutor's office or a professional guardianship.
• You appreciate working with members of the authority and the employees of the specialist service in an interdisciplinary team.
• You can count an independent and exact way of working as well as good self-organization among your strengths.
• You are characterized by high social competence, are very resilient and flexible and feel mentally up to the demanding field of activity.
• You want to contribute your conceptual and analytical skills.
• Oral and written communication at a high level is easy for you and you can appear confidently towards your stakeholders.
• You are conscientious, binding, reliable and open.

Our department

The Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) is responsible for the implementation of child and adult protection law. The KESB Region also fulfills the tasks of the KESB for the political municipalities of Eggersriet, Häggenschwil, Muolen and Wittenbach. We work in an interdisciplinary team and value dealing with the affected children, adults and other parties involved in the proceedings. We meet people openly and without judgment and are committed to sustainable child and adult protection.
