DBA Senior Oracle / SQL Server (f/m/d) Be your best with bechtle On behalf of our banking client based in Genève, we are looking for a DBA Senior Oracle / SQL Server (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring the operation, securing, automation, and evolution of critical multi-technology database environments. Your mission Lead security patching operations on Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases, from planning to validation, ensuring reporting and compliance monitoring. Ensure monitoring of vulnerabilities related to databases, coordinate remediation actions, and guarantee the resolution of risks within defined deadlines. Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions in order to reduce manual tasks, standardize operations, and strengthen service resilience. Manage the lifecycle of databases, including provisioning, migrations, upgrades, refreshes, backups, restorations, recovery tests, and decommissioning. Participate in production support and 24/7 on-call duties, intervene on critical incidents, and contribute to service continuity in on-premise and Azure environments. Your profile Bachelor in IT or equivalent field, with at least 5 years of experience in database administration in critical environments. Excellent mastery of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, with proven experience in high-volume environments with high availability requirements. Solid skills in scripting, automation, architecture, performance tuning, and database optimization. Good knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure environments; experience with Oracle Exadata and Oracle Data Guard is a major asset. Ability to analyze and resolve complex incidents, sense of organization, rigor, and ease in managing priorities in a production context. Fluent French and English, good team spirit, ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical interlocutors, and availability to participate in 24/7 on-call duty.
