A warm welcome to Schule Wangen! The Schule Wangen includes the municipalities of Walliswil bei Niederbipp, Walliswil bei Wangen, the district of Wangenried, and the Schule Wangen an der Aare school complex in Oberaargau. It encompasses all school offerings of the Volksschule of the Canton of Bern, from two-year kindergarten to leaving school at the end of 9th grade. In all three cycles, learners are integrally supported through special education support. The approximately 400 children and adolescents as well as the 60 teachers can access an advanced infrastructure. The joint planning and development of lessons in all levels is the focus of our modern school. We look forward to getting to know you and welcoming you to the team!

Tasks ###

• Class teacher of a 1./2. multi-grade class with 15 students - teaching of regular class lessons according to the existing timetable - collaboration in the team, in the cycle group, in the general faculty, and at school events - IF teaching possible with own class. Requests regarding workload can be considered upon agreement.

Requirements ###

You have a degree as a primary school teacher, are currently in training for it, or intend to undertake it. Ideally, you bring initial teaching experience or have another pedagogical background. You are interested in the life world of your learners, show a willingness to cooperate in a team, and are open to active participation in school development.

We offer ###

Fixed-term employment with 18 - 21 lessons of teaching, plus the function as a class teacher in part-time employment until autumn 2027. Additionally, we offer: - support in the preparation and follow-up of lessons by the team at the same level and at the same location - a committed, motivated, and experienced faculty - support in daily work (DaZ, IF, speech therapy, psychomotorics, school social work) - support by school management and mentorship - contemporary infrastructure
