The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population of the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie under the direction of Frau Dr. med. Mirjana Vidakovic, Tanja Romano is looking for a physiotherapist at the Herisau location as of 1. November 2026 or by arrangement in the Psychiatrisches Zentrum in the area of Allgemeine Therapien.

Your tasks

• Carrying out assessment, treatment planning, treatment measures and evaluation for inpatient and outpatient patients
• Documentation and performance recording of the services rendered in a timely, complete and legible form
• Ensuring a goal-oriented, audience-appropriate flow of information within the team and interprofessionally
• Independent and optimal daily and weekly planning of patients with the support of the secretariat
• Targeted use of specialist knowledge as well as technical devices to fulfill the tasks
• Economic thinking and acting

Your profile

• Swiss diploma degree as Dipl. Physiotherapeut/in (SRK or FH)
• Diploma degree with a foreign diploma, if possible recognized by the SRK
• Some years of professional experience
• Flexibility and resilience as well as your cheerful and team-oriented manner distinguish you
• Good PC user knowledge (Word, Power Point, Excel)
