Accountant (m/w/d)*

What you will be doing:

• Account reconciliations between the main and subsidiary ledger, monthly and annual closures
• VAT settlements for Switzerland and Germany
• Complete monthly closure
• Support in day-to-day business:
• Processing of bank statements and booking of payment receipts
• Recording, verification and booking of domestic and foreign supplier invoices
• Organization of regular payment runs in coordination with purchasing

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed commercial training and a specialist certificate in finance and accounting
• 5-10 years of professional experience in comparable functions of financial accounting, preferably in companies with a connection to industry/production or research/development
• Experience in the interface between financial accounting and payroll accounting is an advantage
• Experience in handling ERP systems, ideally with IGF – INFOR Global Finance
• Experience with VAT settlements in Switzerland and - advance tax returns in Germany is an advantage
• Structured way of working, initiative, high independence and a pronounced team spirit
• Good German and English language skills in word and writing
