The Sicherheitsdirektion includes the Kantonspolizei Zürich, the Strassenverkehrsamt, the Migrationsamt, the Amt für Militär und Zivilschutz, the Kantonale Sozialamt as well as the Sportamt and the Rekursabteilung. The Generalsekretariat is the central staff unit of the Sicherheitsdirektion. As Head of Digitalization \& Business Service in the Generalsekretariat, you will play a decisive role in shaping the digital transformation in our Direktion. Together with our Ämtern and your team, you will further develop digitalization, coordinate its implementation, and ensure that digital solutions create sustainable added value for the administration and the population. Your tasks You will further develop the digitalization and ICT strategy of the Direktion in cooperation with the Ämtern and advise them on strategic and operational issues. You control the project and portfolio management and coordinate the successful implementation of digitalization and ICT projects. You lead the areas of Business Engineering, Business Architecture, Process, Project Portfolio and Service Management and ensure the sustainable operation of the specialist applications. You represent the Direktion in cantonal committees and prepare sound decision-making bases, statements and motions. Your profile University or university of applied sciences degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informatik, Betriebswirtschaft or a comparable qualification Several years of specialist and leadership experience in a comparable function with responsibility for digitalization as well as project and portfolio management. Pronounced understanding of business processes and digital technologies as well as the ability to develop sustainable and practical solutions from them. Strategically thinking, decisive and strong-communicating leadership personality with pronounced consulting competence and the ability to connect different stakeholders and effectively drive changes.
