Your contribution

• Provide technical, personnel, and financial leadership for the enterprise architecture area across the five federal offices of the Swiss Army in the various architecture areas (military ICT, civilian ICT, armament, and digital transformation)
• Be responsible for the technical leadership of enterprise architecture for the entire Defence Group and involve the partners; cross-cutting control of domain and business area architectures
• Shape and be responsible for the governance, processes, and products of the architecture, as well as create fundamentals and specifications for the projects
• Develop architecture specifications and guidelines for action aligned with the strategy and business requirements and bring them into the responsible leadership bodies
• Manage internal, external, and international stakeholders (e.g., industry partners) of the Defence architecture and communicate the contents of the architecture in favor of <<Federated Mission Networking>>

What makes you unique

• University or technical college degree with specialization in computer science and business administration, good knowledge in the field of (enterprise) architecture and analysis, as well as very good knowledge of military structures and processes
• Proven several years of leadership experience in enterprise architecture and its methods in large organizations
• Ability to convey complex matters clearly, structurally, and in a manner appropriate to the recipient and to combine different interests
• Very good methodological competence (e.g., TOGAF, HERMES, project or program management certifications such as IPMA/MAS) and further training and experience in business analysis
• Good active knowledge of at least a second official language and passive knowledge of a third official language as well as very good English skills (C1)

Here, in accordance with political specifications, the strategic foundations, the armed forces development, and the army and armament planning are developed, and tasks in the international security context are performed.
