Senior Structural Engineer - Aircraft Structures (w/m/d)

Your role ## • Performing strength analyses, dimensioning, and structural verifications for primary and secondary aircraft structures using classical hand calculations and finite element methods • Creation, review, and approval of structural assessments and solutions for deviations based on existing finite element models • Performing structural analyses of metallic components and composite components in development and certification phases • Creation and review of technical documentation, including memos, certification reports, production instructions, and acceptance criteria • Approval of changes to drawings and bills of materials as part of corrective actions, structural improvements, and further developments • Creation of detailed analysis reports as well as participation in structural test plans and test reports • Analytical support for interdisciplinary teams as well as collaboration with external suppliers or aviation authorities, if required Your profile ## • Completed Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable course of study with a focus on aircraft structures • At least five years of professional experience as a Structural Engineer or calculation engineer in the aviation sector • Very good knowledge of classical strength calculation, dimensioning, and hand calculation methods • Experience with finite element tools such as NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP, or comparable software • Knowledge in the analysis of composite structures is an advantage • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to adapt flexibly to changing priorities • Business fluent English skills What you will appreciate with us ## • An environment in which you can constantly develop yourself.
