Your tasks
In addition to the safe handling of chemicals, Laboratory Technicians EFZ textile learn processing and dyeing procedures. External chemical and textile-specific introductory courses support the transfer of knowledge during your training. You will participate in research projects and learn to plan, conduct, and evaluate the results of laboratory experiments. In this process, the protocolling of experiments is a central component of the daily work. In addition to the in-house training, you will attend the Gewerbliche Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen (GBS).
Your profile
You have completed secondary school with good performance in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English, possess good color vision, and bring a willingness to learn and perform. Networked thinking and an exact and reliable way of working are very important to you. You like working on a PC and have a lot of perseverance for experiments that do not work at the first attempt.
