Job Description ##

By the size of its collections, the Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire - Lausanne (BCUL) is one of the largest libraries in Switzerland. A public institution with a heritage, cultural and academic vocation, the Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire - Lausanne (BCUL) is under the Direction générale de la culture (DGC).

As a logistics manager, you participate in the fluidity of document flows and the proper functioning of the logistics and infrastructure of the BCUL. On a daily basis, you actively take charge of distribution, storage and transport operations, as well as the maintenance of premises, furniture and equipment, as well as various missions of the section.

Responsibilities ##

• Ensure the distribution logistics missions of the BCUL.
• Ensure the storage logistics missions of the BCUL.
• Ensure the maintenance of BCUL premises, machines, furniture and equipment.
• Ensure the transport logistics missions of the BCUL.
• Participate in other missions of the Logistics and Infrastructure section.

Qualifications ##

• CFC logistician or equivalent training.
• Federal diploma of storage logistician desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience useful for the function.
• Good command of basic IT tools (MS Office suite).
• Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and adaptability.
• User orientation.
• Spirit of mutual aid and collaboration.
• Global vision and sense of perspective.
