«When I see a young person making steps towards independence - that is pure motivation.» And yes: these steps sometimes happen alongside a mountain of laundry, a discussion about homework, and a spontaneous fit of laughter. In our residential groups with children and adolescents between 10 and 16 years old, it will certainly never be boring. As of 1 September 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for Social Pedagogue (80%) in the Living and Leisure Environment ## Your new area of responsibility • Active co-shaping of the living, learning, and development space of the children and adolescents • Accompanying, supporting, and promoting in everyday life, especially in the emotional and social areas • Collaboration with teachers, therapists, legal guardians • Taking over the case management of two adolescents, including writing progress reports • Shaping parent and relative counseling What you bring with you • Education at a school for Social Work or equivalent education • A stable personality with high professional competence • Joy in working in the inpatient sector with children, adolescents, and their families • Interest in working with the competency orientation methodology KOSS • Flexible readiness for irregular working hours, night presence, and weekend service • Readiness to participate in the annual leisure camp (5 days) • Requirement of a car driver's license for geared cars and one year of driving experience We offer • A demanding, versatile pedagogical task • A professional environment that takes quality seriously and invests in further development • Case coaching • 7 paid training and instruction days on the competency orientation methodology KOSS • Further training is supported and is partially paid working time • Public transport connection - only 15 train minutes from Winterthur. In the residential groups, the adolescents are embedded in clear structures, reliable relationships, and an everyday life that provides security and opens perspectives. Our team works interdisciplinary, resource-oriented, and with high professional care to strengthen the adolescents on their path towards more independence - step by step and always together.
