Cableway operator / Cableway operator

For our ski area in San Bernardino, we are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to join the lift staff for the winter season.

Open positions:

• Machine operators: personnel in charge of operating controls, monitoring motors and mechanical-electronic lift systems, as well as performing ordinary maintenance recorded in the official operating logs;
• Station/Platform Agents: personnel in charge of direct passenger assistance during boarding and disembarking (chairlifts/skilifts) and visual monitoring of the lines, ensuring the application of safety and conduct regulations.

Technical Requirements and Certifications:

• for Machine operators and Agents: basic technical training (mechanical, electrical, or Swiss vocational training CFP/APF in cableway systems) constitutes a preferential qualification;
• Medical and Physical Fitness: perfect psychophysical fitness (UFT requirement for safety-relevant tasks), resistance to prolonged outdoor work in alpine climatic conditions, and emergency management skills;
• Flexibility and LDL Regulations: availability to work on weekends and public holidays. Service shifts and rest periods will be structured in full compliance with the LDL in public transport;
• Mobility skills: good ability to ski or move on a snowboard to perform line checks and operational movements safely on the slopes;
• Attitude and Languages: strong sense of responsibility, absolute reliability, and guest orientation. Excellent knowledge of the Italian language is required; knowledge of German and English represents a plus.
