• Glarus / Linthgebiet Our client is an established Swiss company based in Glarnerland (with home office option), which has been building personalized high-tech electric wheelchairs for many years. To complement the team, we are looking for a creative and competent person as:   Application Engineer: in (80-100%) - Programming of High-End Electric Wheelchairs Your tasks • You develop and optimize standard as well as customer-specific software solutions in the field of electronic drive systems and implement innovative ideas into stable, practice-oriented applications. • You are responsible for the maintenance, further development and updating of existing software applications and ensure data consistency as well as a clean release structure. • You work actively in development projects and support the technical implementation of new solutions. • You accompany development projects from conception to implementation and create structured technical documentation. • You conduct internal and external technical training sessions and support adjacent departments in software-related questions.   What you bring or can learn • You have completed a technical education (e.g. in the field of automation, electronics or system technology). • Ideally, you have experience with common control systems for electronic drive solutions. • You have a pleasure in creative problem solving and keep track of multiple parallel projects. • You communicate safely in German and have good English skills. • You work independently, show initiative and appreciate teamwork.   What to expect A diverse range of tasks with a lot of creative freedom, modern employment conditions and a motivated team that values cooperation.
