Senior Chemical Purchaser (80 - 100%)

Your tasks

• Participation in the development and implementation of a future-oriented purchasing strategy
• Independent conduct of price, contract, and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk (NL) plant
• Monitoring and analysis of forecasts as well as performing actual/target controls within the Kolb Gruppe
• Responsibility for contract management in the SAP MM module, especially for the Moerdijk location
• Support and further development of the contract management tool
• Ensuring the availability of raw materials and packaging materials
• Collaboration in the development of emergency and supply security concepts
• Operational deputy for the Team Lead Chemical Procurement
• Management and coordination of cross-location procurement projects
• Strategic and operational purchasing of packaging materials for the Kolb Gruppe
• Member of the SAP core team for the MM module

Your knowledge, your skills, your experience

• Completed studies in the field of business administration, supply chain management, chemistry, industrial engineering, or higher vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the chemical industry
• Demonstrable experience in price and contract negotiations at an international level
• Very good knowledge of SAP MM
• Experience in contract and supplier management
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High level of initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
• Project management experience as well as the ability to provide functional leadership to project teams
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing; Dutch is an advantage
• Strategic and networked thinking
