As Director Marketing & Communications, you will contribute to making these strengths visible internationally, effectively supporting sales work, and accelerating our growth in the relevant markets.

Your role
As Director Marketing & Communications, you report to the Head of Group Sales and lead a small marketing team. You are responsible for international marketing and communication work, from strategic orientation to operational implementation and success measurement. In doing so, you work closely with sales, executive management, leaders, external partners, and the relevant specialist departments.

Ferag offers an international, technology-driven environment with direct influence on brand, market appearance, and business development. In this key role, you shape not only content but also the way Ferag is perceived, understood, and preferred in the relevant markets.

Your main tasks

• You develop and implement a global marketing and communication strategy that supports our growth goals in the relevant international markets
• You plan the annual marketing roadmap with campaigns, priorities, budgets, and milestones and ensure successful implementation
• You are responsible for the positioning and further development of the Ferag brand across all communication and sales channels
• You develop target-group-oriented content for customers, markets, media, events, and digital channels and ensure their technical quality and sales relevance
• You work closely with Group Sales and the technology departments to consistently align marketing activities with business development and lead generation
• You are responsible for the planning and execution of international trade fairs, customer events, and communication campaigns
• You strengthen the digital presence of Ferag and drive the further development of the website, social media, content marketing, and other relevant platforms
• You lead your team professionally and organizationally, set clear priorities, promote the further development of your employees, and ensure professional implementation in daily business
• You are responsible for the marketing budget, reporting, KPI monitoring, as well as the selection and management of external agencies and service providers
• You support the Executive Team and leaders with presentations, customer appearances, and external corporate communication with clear messages and convincing formats

Your profile

• Completed higher vocational training (marketing, communication, business administration, or comparable direction)
• Several years of leadership and management experience in B2B marketing of an internationally active industrial, mechanical engineering, or technology company
• Provable successes in the development of international brand and communication strategies
• Sound experience in the areas of Corporate Communications, Public Relations, and Digital Marketing
• Very good understanding of technical products and complex industrial solution offerings
• Experience in leading interdisciplinary and international teams
• Strong conceptual skills as well as high implementation strength
• Confident communication skills and a secure appearance across all leadership and functional levels
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing, other languages an advantage
