Solution Architect 80-100 % Zürich-Flughafen, St.Gallen or Bern

As a Solution Architect, you take on a central and responsible role. Together with our technical teams and partners, you design the future IT architectures of our customers in the public environment (Confederation, cantons and municipalities) as well as other institutions from the public sector to create the necessary prerequisites to drive forward the digital progress of Switzerland. Digitalization, new technologies, cloud and outsourcing services are our focus! As a Solution Architect, you are part of our six-person Solution Architect team. We are looking for you as a committed and responsible personality with a sound technical background and a view of the big picture.

Your role ##

• Design (IT architectures, IT standards and technical concepts for offers) of On-Premise & Cloud solutions (Private, Hybrid and Public Cloud from Microsoft, AWS or Google)
• Processing of public tenders and offers (Tech. Lead, design and elaboration of the technical solution, price calculation, presentation of the solution to our customers)
• Collaboration in the design of new IT solutions and future services
• Advising and accompanying our customers with their IT projects or strategies
• Elaboration of concepts for complex IT platforms in cooperation with our System Engineers as well as external partners
• Identification and introduction of new innovations, technologies and tools that promote company success.
• Accompanying the project teams to implement the project requirements

Your profile ##

• completed studies in computer science or business informatics (FH/Uni/ETH/HF) or equivalent training
• several years of professional experience in IT architecture, ideally in the development of complex IT systems
• Sound knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. Azure/Microsoft 365, Google, AWS) and their architecture principles
• Strong communication and moderation skills to convey complex technical content understandably
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and a high standard for quality and innovation
• Very good communication and presentation skills in German and good English skills

Certifications in the field of Public Cloud or IT architectures (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Enterprise Administrator Expert) or Togaf round off your profile.
