Head of Front Office Energy Trading (m/f/d)

What you can move. • As a member of the management team of the "energy economy" unit, you are responsible for the overall performance resulting from trading in compliance with compliance rules. You are also in charge of optimized production and consumption portfolios on short and long-term markets. • With your team, you continuously evolve energy trading and exploit opportunities related to market evolution, increasing digitization, and new regulatory frameworks. • In this position, you develop and strengthen analytical and quantitative models and methods and ensure reliable production and load forecasts as well as transparent results management. • You collaborate transversally on short to long-term energy projects and ensure the operational implementation of new production, supply, and consumption control options. • Setting up strategic partnerships and cooperations with industrial partners to optimize our portfolio is also part of your responsibilities. • You lead your team in a collegiate, clear, and results-oriented manner and targetedly develop the skills necessary for tomorrow's energy trading. You can provide performance references in the use of quantitative methods, digitization, and tool development. • Holding a university degree or a university of applied sciences degree, complemented by further training in management, you have at least five years of professional experience in the energy sector. Management experience is an asset. • You have an excellent command of German and a good level of French (or vice versa - min. B2 in each language). A good knowledge of English is also required (min. B1).
