Tasks

• Assistance with the preparation and cooking of Italian and Mediterranean dishes
• Mise en Place for the daily service
• Support for the cook and the kitchen team
• Washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and other ingredients
• Preparation of simple cold and warm dishes
• Plating and providing the dishes
• Dishwashing as well as cleaning and order in the kitchen
• Compliance with hygiene and HACCP regulations
• Assistance with banquets, caterings and special occasions

Requirements

• Experience as an assistant cook is an advantage
• Experience in Italian cuisine is desirable
• Independent, reliable and clean way of working
• Resilience and flexibility
• Enjoyment of working in a team
• German language skills; Italian language skills are an advantage
