Horizonte is a non-profit organization and is committed to the social and professional integration of people with mental impairments through various offers in the working and living sectors.
In our printing center, our employees and apprentices produce brochures, flyers, business cards, letterheads, envelopes, and much more. On the other hand, in the handicraft department, we carry out various tasks such as lettershop, equipping brochures, gluing work, sorting work, and various finishing tasks.

Deputy Operations Manager, 90-100 % (m,f,d)

Your main tasks

• Acquisition of production orders in cooperation with the operations management
• Processing of all orders in Avor
• Representation of the operations management in its absence
• Representation of the production group leaders as required
• Ensuring customer-oriented production
• Quality control in production and support in cooperation with

the operations management

• Supervisor of the printing department

Your profile

• Basic vocational training as a printing technologist or a related profession with further training at tertiary level B (GIB, TGZ, or similar)
• Leadership experience
• Many years of experience in Avor
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in a structured manner
• Strong social competence and / or the willingness to acquire the corresponding expertise and to undergo training and further education
• High tolerance and empathy for people in difficult life situations
• Personal requirements: high resilience, responsible, communicative, team player, empathetic, appreciative.
