Attached to the Department of Medicine, the Infectious Diseases Service aims to reconcile clinical activity responding to the needs of a university hospital and academic activity of research and teaching with the Faculty of Medicine. It ensures the diagnosis and treatment of all patients suffering from an infectious disease, including HIV/AIDS patients for whom all applicable measures to slow down or stop the progression of their pathology are implemented in coordination with interdisciplinary care. Job Description ## You will participate in the national multicenter project iGASWISS-2, dedicated to the study of invasive group A streptococcal infections (iGAS) in Switzerland. This project, carried out in collaboration with several university centers in the country, aims to deepen epidemiological, clinical, and microbiological knowledge of iGAS in order to improve prevention and management strategies. Under the supervision of the principal investigators, you will contribute to the scientific and operational activities related to the conduct of the study. You will collect and extract clinical data from computerized medical records, then verify their quality, consistency, and completeness. You will participate in the management and updating of the REDCap database and coordinate exchanges with participating centers to ensure follow-up of inclusions and resolve missing data. You will take part in data validation procedures and quality control, as well as initial descriptive analyses in collaboration with the methodological team. You will also contribute to the writing of scientific reports, congress summaries, and manuscripts, and participate in research meetings. Qualifications ## You hold a federal diploma of physician or a recognized equivalent training by the Commission of Medical Professions (MEBEKO). You show a strong interest in clinical research, epidemiology, and infectious diseases. Previous experience in collecting or analyzing clinical data is an asset. You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, methodological rigor, and are able to work autonomously. You are comfortable with computer tools and database management. For non-French speakers, a C1 level in French, both spoken and written, is required. A good command of English is expected, and knowledge of one or more national languages (notably Italian or German) is a real advantage.
