Microbiology Supervisor - Environmental Monitoring and Hygiene (80-100%) #

Our Environmental Monitoring & Hygiene team is at the heart of ensuring product quality and patient safety in our aseptic manufacturing environment. As a supervisor, you will drive microbiological excellence and lead a dedicated team responsible for environmental monitoring and hygiene supervision to ensure GMP compliance across the entire site.

To strengthen our dedicated team, we are looking for a people-oriented and quality-focused personality to join us at our site near Winterthur as soon as possible or by arrangement as Microbiology Supervisor - Environmental Monitoring & Hygiene (80-100%)

Your role

• Lead and develop the Microbiology Environmental Monitoring & Hygiene team.
• Supervise environmental monitoring activities, data trend analysis, and microbiological investigations.
• Ensure hygiene and aseptic standards across the entire site through training, advising, and compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate and evaluate aseptic process simulations (media fills).
• Support GMP compliance via risk assessments, change controls, CAPA, and deviation management.
• Provide technical support and supervision for site CAPEX and quality projects.

Your profile

• Degree in microbiology, biology, biotechnology, or a related life sciences discipline.
• Experience in environmental monitoring, microbiological quality control, or aseptic manufacturing in a GMP regulated environment.
• Good understanding of microbiological processes, hygiene concepts, and cleanroom operations.
• Experience in microbiological deviation investigation and support for CAPA and change controls.
• Proficiency in German and comfortable working in English.
