Background:
The <<Operate Buildings>> area at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations is responsible for ensuring the energy and media supply, ensuring building operations, as well as providing services in the maintenance area. The Technical Building Operations team ensures the reliable, regulatory-compliant, and cost-conscious operation of the building technology systems.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the availability of the technical building equipment, the regulatory-compliant, as well as the economical operation of the systems over the entire useful life of the buildings
• Responsibility for technical building and system inspections, fault rectification, maintenance, continuous system optimizations (energy, costs)
• Responsibility for external company supervision as well as GMP-compliant documentation
• Performing on-call duty and participating in various exciting projects
• Using specialist knowledge to effect change and benefiting from specialist knowledge from other areas through cooperation
• Ensuring information exchange in the specialist departments and participating proactively, as well as independently, in self-organized teams.

Must Haves:

• Completed technical vocational training in the field of building technology (e.g., automation technician, ventilation fitter), ideally a maintenance specialist
• Min. 3 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment
• Basic knowledge of IT applications (Office, SAP, etc.)
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing
• Independence and proactive way of working
• Team orientation and willingness to cooperate
• Problem-solving ability and decisiveness
• High sense of responsibility

Nice to Have:

• GMP knowledge
• Further training as an IH-specialist
• Several years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment
• Ideally English skills
