The Service Head of Childhood and Leisure Sector at 80% (Fixed-term contract maternity leave replacement until October 2027) The Youth and Social Cohesion Service is responsible, on one hand, for activities related to childhood and youth, neighborhoods, extracurricular services, and the youth dental clinic. It also steers policies regarding youth, integration, the housing office, social cohesion, seniors, and the fight against precariousness. In connection with numerous associations, it brings together approximately 250 female and male employees in very varied professional fields. In order to meet the needs of children and their families, the city of Yverdon-les-Bains is advertising the following position for the Youth and Social Cohesion Service: Head of Childhood and Leisure Sector at 80% (Fixed-term contract maternity leave replacement until October 2027) Your missions and responsibilities: Ensure strategic steering and the implementation of decisions from political authorities. Plan, organize and supervise all activities in your sector (supervised homework, activities during school holidays, UNICEF action plan), propose areas for improvement and guarantee their quality. Ensure compliance with budgets, ensure rigorous management of financial resources. Lead and animate all personnel in the sector. Ensure the monitoring of subsidized partners and develop the network. Represent the sector to families and partners. Your profile: University, social or pedagogical training ES, HES or HEP. Confirmed experience in team management and in child development. Sense of public service. Ability to establish relationships with others and aptitude for cooperation with various partners. Sense of organization, rigor and autonomy. Mastery of IT tools.
