On behalf of one of our partner clients based in the Vevey region, a company recognized in the region for the quality of its work and its customer service, we are looking for a miller to strengthen their team.

Job Description

• Reception, quality control and preparation of grains (wheat, rye, spelt, etc.) before milling
• Operation and adjustment of milling equipment (millstones, cylinders) according to the types of flour to be produced
• Sieving, particle size control and packaging of flour in compliance with current standards
• Preventive and curative maintenance of the mill installations, as well as monitoring stocks of raw materials and finished products
• Collaboration with suppliers (farmers, cereal producers) and customers (bakers, artisans) to ensure production adapted to needs

Profile Sought

• Vocational training in the field of milling or flour milling, recognized in Switzerland (CFC or equivalent)
• Significant experience in the operation of a mill or a cereal processing unit
• Rigor, sense of organization and constant concern for the quality of the finished product
• Ability to work autonomously, good physical condition and valid driver's license
