For GIBS Olten, we are looking for a teacher of vocational knowledge in the subject area of companion animals, 11-15%, limited to a fixed term. The lessons are given in blocks of instruction every Tuesday. Your responsibility You are responsible for the school-based specialist training in vocational knowledge for animal care specialists EFZ in the subject area of companion animals in the 3rd year of apprenticeship. The promotion of methodological and social competencies as well as situation-based support for learners is also part of your tasks. In addition, you are responsible for the individual preparation and follow-up of lessons, taking into account the coordination of learning locations. You develop action-oriented teaching concepts and materials. Your profile You have a solid education in the field of animal care, veterinary medicine or a biological subject area and have practical professional experience in the field of companion animals. Ideally, you have experience in the training and support of learners and have completed a pedagogical further education (e.g. basic module EHB) or are willing to complete it.
