Designer: Workspace System Construction (80-100%)

Introduction

You design what drives our daily production: from assembly workstations to material feeds to shelving systems and material trolleys. With CAD know-how and initiative, you develop well-thought-out workspace systems and take on exciting small projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and further development of workspace systems and operating equipment using CAD according to specifications/orders from department, line, or project managers
• Creation of design drawings and risk assessments as well as participation in technical documentation in cooperation with the Technical Documentation team
• Planning and implementation of small projects as well as procurement of new workspace systems
• Calculation of weight loads as well as entry of materials and construction types in SAP
• Independent manufacturing and mechanical processing of workspace systems
• Selection of suitable machine and standard elements as well as coordination with suppliers
• Support during moves, decommissioning, and recommissioning
• Inventory management and procurement of BOSCH components as well as compliance with occupational safety

Required Expertise

• Technical basic training, e.g., as a designer, polymechanic, automation technician, or metalworker
• Ideally further training at HF level in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or automation
• Min. 3 years of professional experience in profile system construction
• Min. 3 years of professional experience CAD experience, ideally with Siemens NX
• Further training as a Lean Production Expert and in project management is desired
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Initiative, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness
• Strong communication skills, helpfulness, and cross-functional teamwork skills
