For the newly created position, we are looking for, by arrangement, a Business Controller (80-100%) with focus on BI and Reporting University Management Shape the future of data-based controlling at the Universität Luzern together with us: Advising the organizational units as a business partner as well as further development of the BI and reporting landscape with meaningful dashboards and management reports. Support and further development of the entire financial management process, from budgeting and forecasts to the annual financial statements. Analysis of financial, performance and student data as well as preparation of sound decision-making bases for the university management, faculties and services. Active participation in shaping this newly created function and involvement in building modern, data-based controlling at the Universität Luzern. Collaboration in cross-departmental projects as well as contribution of own ideas for the further development of finance and accounting. Taking on further demanding tasks in finance and accounting upon agreement. Requirements University degree (FH or HF) in business administration, accounting or comparable training Further training in the field of controlling, accounting or business intelligence is an advantage Several years of experience in controlling and accounting as well as enjoyment in dealing with data and modern reporting and BI solutions. Experience in the analysis and preparation of complex data as well as the development of meaningful key figures, dashboards and management reports. Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working combined with a high quality standard. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to convey complex facts in a target-group-oriented and understandable manner.
