Our Besondere Volksschule Nils Holgersson (Zyklus 3) is located in Wattenwil. In the multi-grade classes, both internal and external students are taught. Assignments are made on behalf of various specialist offices, authorities, and social insurance providers. These include socio-pedagogically managed residential groups in Seftigen and Uetendorf. Our goal is the social and educational promotion of adolescents and young adults according to their individual needs, abilities, and development opportunities, as well as supporting them in career choice. Tasks ###

• You will take over the operational leadership of our besondere Volksschule at the Sekundarstufe I level with around 22 adolescents in small and very small class settings and the residential groups. - You lead the school in pedagogical, organizational, and financial matters. - You lead the interdisciplinary team of teachers, remedial and social pedagogues with clarity, appreciation, and foresight and promote constructive cooperation. - You continuously develop the school, the teaching, and the range of services. - You maintain cooperation with the Bildungs- und Kulturdirektion, the Kantonalen Jugendamt, and other authorities. - In addition to your leadership function, you will take on a teaching workload. - You work closely with the Stiftungsrat and with the partner organization "agilas - bilden bewegt".

Requirements ###

• You have a teaching diploma for Sekundarstufe I (Zyklus 3) or a comparable qualification. - Ideally, you have remedial pedagogical training or a comparable professional further education. - You have completed school leadership training or an equivalent leadership training. - You bring leadership experience and sound experience in working with adolescents and young adults in a socio-pedagogical or psychiatric context. - You have good knowledge of the Bernese educational landscape, the various educational paths, as well as the connection possibilities in training and the labor market.
