ANDRE ROLAND SA is a Swiss intellectual property consulting firm founded in 1998 and specialized in patents, trademarks and designs. Based in Lausanne, with a presence in Genève, Paris and London, our firm accompanies an international clientele in the protection, valuation and defense of its intellectual property assets.

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a :

Generalist Patent Engineer, if possible physicist, microtechnician or equivalent

European Patent Attorney

Your mission

You will join an experienced team of intellectual property consultants and will take charge of a portfolio of innovative clients active in various technical fields.

Your main responsibilities will include :

Drafting and filing patent applications. Monitoring procedures before the EPO, WIPO and national offices with the collaboration of local correspondents. Responding to examination notifications from offices. Active participation in opposition and appeal proceedings before EPO bodies. Carrying out patentability, freedom to operate and validity studies. Strategic advice regarding the protection of our clients' innovation. Accompanying Swiss and international clients in their intellectual property issues. Participating in the commercial development of the firm and in client loyalty.

Your profile

Engineering degree, Master's or Doctorate scientific or technical. European Patent Attorney qualification indispensable, other national qualification (Swiss Attorney or CPI) desired. Confirmed experience in a firm or in industry. Generalist training allowing for the understanding of inventions in various technical fields. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Mastery of professional French and English. German is of course an asset. Entrepreneurial spirit and client orientation. Autonomy, rigor and sense of responsibility. Preferably with a client base.
