Project Manager Structural Engineering / Client Representative (80 - 100 %)

Tasks

• Project management and client representation for city-owned structural engineering and real estate projects, from strategic planning through design and realization to commissioning
• Control and coordination of planners, specialist planners, contractors, and other project participants
• Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and project organization
• Support of renovations, conversions, new buildings, and other measures in the municipal real estate portfolio
• Further development and implementation of the real estate strategy as well as processes, standards, and instruments in the specialist department
• Preparation of decision-making bases for the Head of Infrastructure, the City Council, and other committees
• Advising the Head of Infrastructure and the responsible department head in the City Council

Profile

• Completed training in the field of construction, architecture, real estate, or comparable qualification
• Further education and/or several years of professional experience in project management, client representation, construction management, or real estate management
• Experience in the planning and implementation of construction and real estate projects
• Ideally experience in the public environment and understanding of political and administrative decision-making processes
• Strong planning, organization, and project management competence
• Good communication skills and negotiation skills
• Confident handling of common IT applications
