Coach/Teacher 50-70%

On behalf of the Office for Economy and Labour of the Canton of Solothurn, we support young people of all school levels who have not found an apprenticeship or job after compulsory schooling or after dropping out of an apprenticeship, on their way to or entry into the working world. We need reinforcement and are looking, effective immediately or by arrangement, at our location in Solothurn for a Coach/Teacher 50-70% ## You have training in pedagogy, social pedagogy, social work or similar and have professional experience in working with young people, ideally in adolescence. We expect high intercultural competence, resilience, willingness to work in a team and flexibility in working hours, as well as confident handling of digital tools and Office applications. You are at least 30 years old, a life-affirming, versatile personality with heart, humor and empathy. You work as a coach and accompany young people in all matters regarding the topics of career finding and integration. Your workload as a coach is 25-45%. In addition, you teach the participants (secondary school leavers Sekundarschule B) in career finding and application techniques as well as in the subjects German, Mathematics and general education. Your workload as a teacher is 25% (approx. 6 lessons per week). You work closely with the second teacher and the coaches of the participants. We offer you a demanding, varied and responsible position with supervision, annual working hours and further training.
