Canton of Schaffhausen, Public Prosecution Office Traffic Department The Public Prosecution Office of the Canton of Schaffhausen is responsible for criminal prosecution and comprises three departments under the leadership of the First Public Prosecutor: General Department, Juvenile Prosecution Office, and Traffic Department. The Traffic Department is responsible for conducting criminal proceedings against adults, provided that traffic offenses on land, water, or in the air are in the foreground. Furthermore, it is responsible for administrative proceedings and decides, for example, on the withdrawal of a driver's license. At the Public Prosecution Office Schaffhausen, Traffic Department, a trainee position for lawyers with a completed master's degree is to be filled for 14 months as of February 1, 2027, or by agreement.
