Group Leader Underground Structures (80 to 100 %)

You will join a multidisciplinary team that cultivates solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, a spirit of innovation, and conviviality.

Job Description

• Supervise, motivate, and advance a team of about ten engineers, by promoting collaboration and the achievement of group objectives
• Ensure workload management and the optimization of team resources
• Actively participate in business development and the acquisition of new mandates from clients and partners
• Guarantee the technical, contractual, and financial follow-up of projects under your responsibility
• Lead, coordinate, and plan large-scale underground infrastructure projects (tunnels, caverns, large excavations, metro stations)
• Intervene across the entire project life cycle, from preliminary studies to execution studies
• Coordinate and support multidisciplinary teams primarily focused on civil engineering and underground works
• Contribute to the realization of technical studies and the development of innovative solutions in the field of underground structures
• Ensure compliance with quality, cost, and deadline objectives, with a high level of customer satisfaction

Profile Sought

• Engineering degree in civil engineering (Federal Institute of Technology, university of applied sciences, or equivalent)
• At least ten years of experience as a project manager in the field of underground structures, with project references in Switzerland
• Initial experience in team management
• Solid technical skills in underground structures and complex infrastructure
• Good knowledge of the regional economic fabric and a developed professional network
• Ability to contribute to business development, the acquisition of new mandates, and customer loyalty
• Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented personality, with a desire to pass on knowledge and support younger staff
• Sense of service, autonomy, and ability to evolve in a demanding and dynamic environment
• Perfect mastery of French; German or English is an important asset
