The Amt für Justizvollzug (AJUV) is responsible for the practical and administrative execution of sentences and measures. The Abteilung Straf- und Massnahmenvollzug plans and designs resource- and risk-oriented sanction execution and thus makes a significant contribution to public safety. For the Abteilung Straf- und Massnahmenvollzug, we are looking for a Case Manager with Special Tasks Execution 1, 80-100% starting immediately or by arrangement at the Solothurn location.

Your Responsibility

• As a member of the Team Vollzug 1, you ensure both the execution of short (substitute) custodial sentences and case management in cases of all types of sanctions with low to medium recidivism risk (incl. execution planning).
• You calculate and execute detention days for all types of sanctions with a focus on the area of custodial sentences as well as in particularly demanding cases within Team Vollzug 1.
• In this function, you issue appealable decrees and order announcements and revocations in the Schweizerisches Polizeifahndungssystem.
• You are in telephone, written, and personal contact with the assigned persons, conduct regular execution coordination meetings, and work interdisciplinary with other involved specialist agencies.
• In the absence of the Team Leader, you take over their deputy role, ensure the operational leadership of the team, and represent the Team Leader in the corresponding specialist and leadership committees.

Your Profile

• You have a tertiary degree in the fields of Social Work, Psychology, or other humanities and a forensic additional qualification or are willing to acquire one.
• In interdisciplinary exchange with judicial authorities, the police, execution facilities, expert persons, and probation services, you enjoy demonstrating your rhetorical as well as editorial and administrative skills just as much as in direct exchange with convicted persons.
• You apply your reliable, careful, and efficient way of working particularly when creating execution orders, decrees, and court submissions. An independent way of working helps you to prioritize flexibly between reading court files, execution reports, and expert opinions, telephone consultations, and visits to execution facilities.
• A confident appearance and high social competence characterize you – both in direct contact with convicted persons and in interdisciplinary cooperation. Additionally, your German language skills in speaking and writing are flawless; good knowledge of foreign languages such as French and English ideally round off your profile.
• You have an unblemished record and show a willingness for continuous further training.
