Your contribution

• Impeccably carry out the work, assigned military personnel and/or assigned civilian personnel in the delivery and collection of army vehicles and material to the troops in accordance with the specified responsibilities
• Store, pick, and transfer material professionally, preparing and sending it according to current regulations and instructions
• Be responsible for the assignment of material for relative repair and overhaul, as well as verify the status and functionality of the material stored on the surface and in the underground areas
• Within your area of responsibility, instruct the troops and specialists on the handling and maintenance of material upon the collection of army systems and material
• Manage the warehouse, maintain inventory, and place supplementary orders

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training as a logistics clerk CFC or equivalent training
• Good knowledge as a user of MS Office and SAP to be used in warehouse management, inventory maintenance, and supplementary material orders
• Driving licenses for categories B, C, and forklift license are mandatory; CE and A licenses represent an advantage
• Rapid and conscientious way of working, organizational skills to guarantee an impeccable execution of processes
• Responsible management of SAP materials and a strong aptitude for contact and long-term consulting with customers

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
