Head of Financial Management Control

our mission

Reporting to the Finance Directorate, you play a key role in the economic and financial steering of HFR. At the head of the Management Control department, you support directorates and departments in their decisions and actively contribute to the improvement of the institution's performance.

In this context, you:

• supervise, support and develop the team of management controllers, promoting autonomy, collaboration and skill development;
• will be a privileged partner to the medical-nursing departments, the Finance Directorate, the General Directorate and the support directorates;
• supervise cost accounting and guarantee its quality and compliance with current standards, notably REKOLE;
• ensure the consistency of monthly, quarterly and semi-annual closings and contribute to certifications and audits;
• develop financial analyses and provide indicators and management dashboards allowing for understanding evolutions, anticipating challenges and supporting decision-making;
• steer and evolve the reporting, budget, projection and long-term financial planning processes;
• contribute to the continuous improvement of management control tools and processes, in a logic of simplification, reliability and efficiency;
• supervise financial and performance statistics in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, notably ITAR-K and OFS;
• participate in cross-functional projects and lead working groups in your field of expertise.

Your profile

You are an analytical, structured and solution-oriented personality, capable of taking a high-level view while remaining close to operational realities.

You possess:

• a university or HES degree in business management with a specialization in management control, a degree as a finance and controlling expert or a training deemed equivalent;
• confirmed experience of at least 5 years in management control, ideally acquired in the health sector;
• a good command of cost accounting, REKOLE standards, budgetary processes and financial steering mechanisms;
• a good understanding of the tariff issues of the health system;
• experience or a real aptitude for management and team development;
• excellent analysis and synthesis skills, combined with clear communication adapted to different interlocutors;
• a spirit of initiative, a strong solution orientation and the ability to evolve practices;
• mastery of French and good knowledge of German, or vice versa.
