We are looking for a:

Software Engineer - (Core DevOps) ###

Context:

The DevOps Platforms team is responsible for setting up and maintaining cross-functional infrastructures and CI/CD tools common to the engineering teams. We manage container orchestration, deployment automation, monitoring, as well as the security and stability of our delivery pipelines.

We are looking for a hybrid profile, capable of bridging the gap between development and infrastructure, to join a team that relies on the complementary expertise of its members.

Your responsibilities:

• Support: Assist developers and SREs in developing automations as well as the deployment and operation of their workloads
• CI/CD & Automation: Create and maintain an internal catalog of standardized CIs (automated versioning and deployment, linting, vulnerability scanning, code quality, etc.)
• Deployment & Orchestration: Deploy, maintain, and optimize workloads on Kubernetes
• Observability: Implement and unify logs, metrics, and tracing on distributed environments
• Resource Optimization: Work on the stability and performance of workloads (autoscaling, quota management, image optimization, densification...)
• Quality & Reliability: Guarantee the robustness, security, and reproducibility of deployments

The profile that excites us:

We are not looking for a pure SRE expert, nor an isolated developer, but a curious professional having an appetite for understanding these two complementary universes:

• Development: Experience or strong interest in software development as well as understanding the challenges and needs of developers. (PHP, Golang, TypeScript)
• Infrastructure: Curiosity and interest in infrastructure challenges related to deployments in collaboration with the teams in charge of their operation

Someone with confirmed experience in:

• CI/CD: Mastery of the entire chain: Lint, Build, Tests, Deployments
• Kubernetes: gitops, workload debugging

Someone who is:

• Pedagogical: Capable of uniting multidisciplinary teams with different professions
• Proactive: Driven by a culture of seeking solutions and endowed with positive communication

A plus if:

• You have experience in distributed systems and microservices
• You have knowledge in PHP/Laravel, Golang, Python, TypeScript
• You know docker and its best practices
• You are curious and like to evaluate emerging technologies
• You have a sense of humor

The technical stack we use:

• CI/CD: Gitlab, Ansible, Bash, Docker, Python, TypeScript
• Kubernetes: Flux, Helm, Kustomize, Operators (Golang)
• Observability: ElasticSearch, Grafana, Jaeger, Kibana, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus
