• 25 July 2026 • 80 - 90% • Indefinite duration • Place Pestalozzi 2 - Hôtel de Ville, Service des R, 1401 Yverdon-les-Bains The Youth and Social Cohesion Service is in charge, on one hand, of activities related to childhood and youth, neighborhoods, extracurricular services, and the youth dental clinic. It also drives policies for youth, integration, the housing office, social cohesion, seniors, and the fight against precariousness. In connection with numerous associations, it brings together approximately 250 employees in very varied professional fields. As part of its strategy to promote social cohesion, the Ville d-Yverdon-les-Bains is advertising, for the Service de la jeunesse et cohésion sociale, the position of: Responsable du Secteur quartiers et affaires sociales entre 80% et 90% Your missions and responsibilities: • Design, drive, and implement municipal policies regarding community and social action in neighborhoods. • Analyze the needs of the population and develop innovative, concrete, and sustainable responses. • Ensure the direction of the sector and guarantee the quality of services as well as budgetary monitoring. • Lead, coach, and supervise a multidisciplinary team. • Develop, animate, and coordinate relations with external partners. • Contribute, as a member of the Executive Committee, to the definition of the Service's strategic orientations. • Supervise the allocation processes for municipal social aid. Your profile: • University or HES Master's in social sciences, social work, or a title deemed equivalent. • Excellent knowledge of Yverdon institutions, as well as Vaud and Swiss legislation regarding social action. • Significant professional experience in the field of social cohesion. • Solid experience in team management and additional training in the field of management desired. • Training and/or experience in project management. • Training as a practitioner-trainer, an asset. • Sense of public service and organization, rigor, and autonomy. • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to build relationships and cooperate with partners.
