Your tasks

Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance Switzerland, you will support Unilabs Switzerland's activities across a wide range of legal, contractual, regulatory, and compliance topics.

Working closely with sales, operational, medical, procurement, and support function teams, you will provide clear, pragmatic, and solution-oriented advice, balancing company objectives with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

You will intervene in both daily activities and strategic projects in a demanding and constantly evolving healthcare sector environment. Your success will rely on your ability to develop trusting relationships with stakeholders, demonstrate discernment, and propose balanced solutions that allow the company to achieve its objectives while controlling its risks.

Your main responsibilities

Legal advice & business support

• Provide clear, pragmatic, and operational legal advice.
• Support teams in their daily activities and strategic projects.
• Identify legal, regulatory, and reputational risks and propose appropriate solutions.
• Manage files from their initial analysis through to implementation and closure.
• Coordinate external legal advice when necessary.

Contracts

• Draft, analyze, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts (customers, suppliers, healthcare professionals, partnerships, and collaborations).
• Support commercial projects, renewals, modifications, and contractual terminations.
• Ensure compliance with approval processes, proper documentation, and the legal securing of commitments.

Compliance & regulated environment

• Advise on regulatory requirements applicable to Laboratory, Pathology, Genetics, and Radiology activities.
• Participate in compliance mechanisms, notably related to interactions with healthcare professionals, anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, and third-party due diligence.
• Contribute to risk assessments, internal investigations, and remediation plans.
• Participate in the drafting and deployment of policies, procedures, and training.

Governance & cross-functional projects

• Support governance activities and legal secretarial duties for Swiss entities.
• Collaborate with local and Group teams on data protection and confidentiality issues.
• Deploy Group Legal & Compliance initiatives in Switzerland.
• Participate in strategic projects such as acquisitions, integrations, and transformations.

What you bring

Your profile

• Master's degree in law.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in law and compliance.
• Successful professional experience in Switzerland and good knowledge of the Swiss legal and regulatory environment.
• Experience in a private company is essential; in-house experience is an asset.
• Experience in the healthcare, medical diagnostics, life sciences sectors, or a regulated environment is appreciated.
• Experience in contract law and compliance.
• Good knowledge of Swiss data protection law.
• Excellent command of English and French or German; proficiency in all three languages is an advantage.
• Pragmatic, autonomous, and solution-oriented, with excellent judgment.
• Rigorous, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
• Comfortable in interactions with diverse stakeholders and able to influence constructively.
• Reliable, responsible, and results-oriented.
• Possessing excellent written and oral communication skills.
